Overview

This is Nabigaga’s core Rwanda gorilla product and should be positioned as the shortest premium Rwanda itinerary for travellers whose main objective is to experience mountain gorillas.

The journey begins in Kigali, Rwanda’s clean and vibrant capital, before travelling north through the country’s famous “Land of a Thousand Hills” landscapes to Volcanoes National Park.

The highlight is a guided gorilla trek through the montane forest of the Virunga Mountains. The official Rwanda tourism authority currently lists the gorilla permit at US$1,500 per international visitor, with a minimum trekking age of 15.
